Legal culture of Europe and Russia in the interpretation of Slavophiles

Early XIXth century was the time when questions about law, legal culture, legal education, updating the legal system began to be actively discussed in russia. The Slavophiles took their original place in this discussion. The article discusses the their views on the ideological foundations of russian legal culture in comparison with the legal culture of Western Europe, as well as the features of legal consciousness inherent in russian society.
