Goal. To determine the importance of a legal personality in the application of preventive practices, since a change in the paradigm of control (supervision) leads to a correlation of the activities of controlled entities. Methods. The article uses the following methods of scientific cognition — analysis, abstraction, synthesis. In addition, a systematic method, cybernetic and synergetic approaches were applied in the field of studying the essence of the phenomenon under study. Results. Based on the review of theoretical provisions, the author notes that the effectiveness of preventive measures depends on the establishment of a fully hierarchical relationship of semantic systems of a legal personality. When implementing prevention, it is worth paying attention to the adaptive behavior of the controlled subject, namely, the timeliness of the measures taken by him, their volume. Scientific novelty. In the context of the reform of control and supervisory activities, an attempt has been made to systematize the main provisions concerning the prevention of violations of mandatory requirements in the implementation of state control (supervision).
