Legal Protection of Agricultural Lands: Basic Principles and Approaches

The article discusses the basic principles and approaches aimed at the protection and efficient use of land resources in the Russian Federation. Special attention is paid to the role of the principle of compliance with the intended use of land, which determines the order of use of agricultural land in accordance with established norms and rules. The analysis of the current regulations disclosing the mechanisms of state regulation of relations in the sphere of agricultural land turnover, including measures aimed at protecting soil fertility and preventing abuse, is carried out. The problem of the lack of unambiguous formulations in the current Russian legislation is highlighted separately, which causes difficulties in law enforcement and generates disputes between owners and government agencies.
