In this article, various interpretations of the legal nature of aleatory commitments are considered. The concepts of aleatory contracts and their differences from conditional deals are disclosed. Examples of aleatory transactions and their characteristics are given. The analysis of such a concept as "risk" is carried out and its content is disclosed.
