Legal nature of electronic money and features of legislation

The article is devoted to the legal nature of electronic money and features of legislation (the article deals with the problems of electronic payment, e-Commerce, payment systems, laws, legal regulation of settlements, micropayments, cryptocurrencies, emission, cash payments, non-cash payments). The article describes the legal relationship of electronic money in the Russian Federation, discusses other means of payment and individual cases of electronic money. Credit and debit cards are described as means of payment, and their legal nature is compared. The technology of payment transactions is considered. The article deals with the problems of the Federal law "on the national payment system" dated 27.06.2011 №161-FZ.
