Legal regulation of expert initiatives in the Russian criminal procedure legislation

This article discusses the legal regulation of expert initiatives in the criminal procedure legislation of the Russian Federation. The authors identify gaps in the legislation in terms of the definition of the term “expert initiative” and the prohibition of expert initiative during the interrogation of an expert.
