Legal protection of information in the state information systems of the Russian Federation in digital realities

The article examines the current problems of legal support for information protection in the state information systems (GIS) of the Russian Federation in the context of digital transformation. The influence of the current regulatory framework on the effectiveness of GIS information security is analyzed, gaps and contradictions caused by the dynamic development of information technologies are identified. Particular attention is paid to the lack of flexibility of legislation, which does not always respond promptly to new challenges and threats in cyberspace. The issues of personnel support in the field of information protection are considered, including the problems of qualification of specialists and compliance of educational programs with modern requirements. The analysis of the factors hindering the effective implementation of information protection measures in GIS is presented, including insufficient funding, technical difficulties in integrating heterogeneous systems, as well as the risks associated with expanding the list of GIS to be connected to the GosSOPKA system. In conclusion, the article substantiates the need to improve legal regulation, including the development of a single codified act regulating digital and GIS in the digital space, as well as increasing the level of information competence of specialists to ensure reliable protection of information in GIS in the face of modern technological challenges and geopolitical instability.
