Legal groundwork for information economy in the period of globalization

Currently, due to the processes of globalization, foundations of a new type of the world economy are established, which make institutional, organizational and technological changes. Therefore, informatization is undoubtedly becoming one of the characteristics of the modern society. The study of the issue of informatization impact on the economy seems to be actual in terms of applicability. There are new types of economic relations virtually at all levels of economic activity, dismantling of industrial-type economy is taking place, flexible networks of cooperation between the parties of the information economic space are created. In the article, the author gives us his own standpoint of information economy, in light of the prevailing views on this issue. Great attention is paid to the matter of legal groundwork for information economy, measures aimed at improving and promoting the development of information economy are proposed.
