Legal support of national security of indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East

The author examines the legislation formed in the post-Soviet period in the field of legal support of national security in relation to the indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East. The author substantiates the existing legislation in the field of legal regulation of public relations of indigenous peoples and the state as an effective system for ensuring national security. The fundamentals that consolidate the rights of small ethnic societies to self-organization, economic activity in the territories of traditional nature management are considered. The author describes the formed system of legal support of national security for the sustainable development of indigenous peoples, which is aimed at ensuring the security of the individual, society, protecting national values and interests, traditions, language, culture of indigenous peoples by state and regional executive authorities and local self-government.
