Legal maintenance of personal fulfillment in the civil society

The present article proves that the feature of law in a civil society lies in its functional expedience. On one hand, the law con- tributes to the maintenance of already established relations, i.e. it provides universal sustainability. On the other hand, the law foresees the further development of the legal state and civil society. The law is a statement of the present already existing (the possibilities and reality of the individual's behavior), but also it assumes on what path the individual will direct its activity in the future. It also includes possible future, still evolving social relations and a kind of “foresight”.
