Legal regulation of educational establishments' activity

The article considers the issues of legal support of the educational establishments' activity in the light of the new Federal law on education. The authors characterize such types of legal status of educational establishments as the constitutional and legal status, civil status, financial status, administrative and legal status, educational and legal status. They also reveal the basic provisions of the Constitution, the Federal law «On education in the Russian Federation» and other legislative acts dealing with the rights and powers of the educational establishment.
