Legal regulation of fan fiction

The paper analyses different approaches to the definition of fan fiction. The questions of exclusive and moral rights of authors and fic-writers are examined. The problems of intellectual property protection are analyzed. The author describes different kinds of fan f iction regulation in foreign countries and analyses legal cases. Studying the foreign experience makes it possible to analyze advantages and disadvantages of fan-fiction.
