Legal regulation of customs control forms

Customs control is one of the most important institutions of customs law, which ensures the external and internal national security of the country. The article examines various approaches to understanding the forms of customs control that are present in modern Russian legal literature. The author's understanding of the form of customs control is given, which is confirmed by judicial practice and complies with the requirements of the Constitution of the Russian Federation of 1993. Special attention is paid to the conformity of customs control forms with international and domestic legal principles and the shortcomings and causes that give rise to them are identified. The measures contributing to their elimination are proposed.
