Legal regulation of euthanasia in the Russian Federation

This article discusses the phenomenon of euthanasia. Currently, the ban on euthanasia at the legislative level does not fully meet the requirements of the principles of humanism and democracy due to the fact that the mortality rate in the Russian Federation from incurable diseases is growing markedly. Legalization of euthanasia is a way to eliminate this discrepancy.
