Legal regulation of the organisation and activities of the transport police in the second half of the XIX century

The article investigates the regulatory framework of the organisation and activities of the railway and water police in the second half of the XIX century. It analyses the main departmental regulations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of communication lines, circular orders of Special Corps of Gendarmes Headquarters, regulating all aspects of the transport police in the period under review.
