Legal regulation of citizens' Rights to a favorable environment and radiation safety in the EAEU countries

The article discusses the rights of citizens of the EAEU member countries to live in environmentally clean conditions. The author believes that citizens affected by radiation exposure should be provided with equal social guarantees and social protection regardless of the place and source of radiation exposure, as well as the current place of residence. To implement the principle of the equal right of citizens to protection, the author initiates the adoption of a universal law of the EAEU member countries, regulating the basic issues of social protection, the form of compensation for harm to citizens exposed to radiation. The article describes in detail the experience of the EAEU member states in the field of legal support of measures aimed at implementing the radiation safety policy. It is also concluded that different countries use different approaches to determining the categories of citizens entitled to social guarantees from the state.
