On the issue of legal regulation of conciliation procedures in criminal proceedings

The author considers certain aspects, related to application possibility of mediation procedures in criminal proceedings; various points of view regarding the essence, content and proliferation spheres of criminal procedure of mediation are analyzed. The article examines the content of draft laws aimed at using mediation in criminal proceedings. The article also gives the concept of criminal law conflict and the content of conflict resolution as an element of the restorative justice system.
