Legal regulation of attracting foreign investments in the oil and gas sector of the USSR

The article analyzes how the legal regulation of attracting foreign investments in the oil and gas sector of the USSR was carried out, how the stages and tools of regulation have been changed in accordance with current state policy and what results have been achieved from reforms in this area for modern Russia. A wide variety of legal regulation of foreign investments in the Soviet oil and gas industry was considered: from complete rejection and expulsion of foreign investors to the creation of the most favorable legal conditions for them.
