In this paper, the necessity of developing a system of legal regulation of advertising activities is substantiated. Based on a comparison with the experience of foreign countries, the development of legal regulation of the advertising sphere in Russia is being explored. The article contains an analysis of the problems and contradictions of the existing legal system, as well as measures to address them based on the practices of the United States and Europe.
