Legal regulation of the labour of disabled people

People with disabilities are a separate category of workers, it requires greater attention, a monitoring of compliance with labour laws, special care and protection by the state. In the event of a person's disability, his social activity is significantly reduced, and labour activity in this case plays an important role in his recovery, which in its turn contributes to rehabilitation. Based on the analysis of statutes of the current federal and regional law, we have identified the problems of legal regulation of the labour of disabled people. The article provides a background of the Russian labour laws on the employment of people with disabilities, emphasizes the influence of the principles and regulations of the international law on improving Russian labour legislation in the field of the labour of disabiled people, as well as considers the guarantees of the employment for people with disabilities, enshrined in Russian law. In order to realize the right of disabled people for labour we give some proposals for improving the current labour legislation. In particular, it is proposed to develop the consistent requirements at the federal level to establish a mechanism for quoting jobs for people with disabilities.
