Legal regulation of labour activity of employees of diplomatic and other missions of the Russian Federation abroad

The article gives a brief analysis of the scope of the federal laws governing labor relations of employees of diplomatic and other missions of the Russian Federation abroad. On the basis of the content of the laws of the Russian Federation and international acts the author concludes that the legislator, theoretically and practically reasonably, has established that the diplomatic service belongs to subspecies of the civil service. General and special rules of the Labour Code RF regulate relations in the diplomatic service with the specifications set out in other federal laws. The author has paid a particular attention to the categories of workers representative of the RF abroad, who are subject to general and specific provisions of the Labour Code of the RF.
