Legal regulation of land relations in Mongolia (1921-1934)

The article deals with the changes in legal aspects of land possession in Mongolia in 1921 - 1934 and impact of agrarian reform on the traditional way of life of arats, Mongolian cattle breeders. The author analyzes the legal documents retrospectively that presented the real situation of that time, studies the specific features when establishing national agricultural cooperatives and shows the author’s attitude to the development of land relations of that period.
