The article provides the legal analysis of Article 450.1 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, regulating the procedure of contract dissolution by virtue of unilateral refusal. The conclusion about using the UNIDROIT principle that is the new one for the Russian legislation is drawn. The debatable issue about correlation of waiver and unilateral refusal of the agreement is solved.
