Topical issues of unification of criminal legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the era of globalization

The article is devoted to the consideration of current issues of unification of criminal legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the context of globalization processes. This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of convergence of national criminal law with international legal standards, emphasizing the influence of universal categories and principles. Particular attention is paid to the comparison of the continental and Anglo-Saxon legal systems, as well as the trends of replacing case law with norms enshrined in legislative acts. The article emphasizes that the process of legal integration in the Kyrgyz Republic takes place taking into account national interests, legal tradition and the specifics of society, which allows maintaining a balance between global standards and sovereign principles of criminal law regulation.
