Legal status and activities of law enforcement agencies of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War

This article considers the problem of the legal status and implementation of the powers of law enforcement agencies of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The purpose of the work is to analyze their activities and the range of tasks set. The study revealed the ability of law enforcement agencies with emergency powers to effectively and quickly resolve emerging issues. Some law enforcement agencies were analyzed, their role in ensuring law and order in the territory of the Soviet Union was revealed. Emergency tasks have been assessed through emergency means.
