Legal status of the child in Russia

Ensuring and protection of rights and legitimate interests of children, primarily guaranteed by the Constitution of the Russian Federation, today are one of the topical state-legal issues. The article focuses on the problematic aspects of the legal status of children in modern Russia. The authors focus on the historical aspects of the situation of children in society, what allowed not only to reveal the Genesis of the issue and identify the circumstances that affected the status of the rights of the child, but also to understand the dynamics of their development and the formation of the theory of the rights of the child. Thus, the choice of the research topic due to the need for a comprehensive and integrated theoretical and legal research of issues of child rights and their protection in modern Russia.
