There is an ambiguous interpretation of the term “moral damage”, in connection with which certain difficultiesarise in compensating for moral damage. The analysis of the materials of judicial practice allowedus to establish that as a way of protecting violated rights, compensation for moral damage has amixed nature, and is also characterized by a special subject composition. In addition, it wasrevealed that compensation for moral damage has a restorative nature and can be considered as ameasure of civil liability.
