Legal aspects of the formation of the Soviet statehood

The political and legal aspects of the institute of congresses of Soviets immediately after the October Revolution of 1917 are characterized, including their analysis as bodies of representative power, and the features of legislative regulation are reflected. It is noted that the choice by the Bolsheviks of this form of democracy was largely due to the already established experience of holding conferences and congresses in the field of party activity, and the assumption is substantiated that in the future, perhaps, some elements of the institution of congresses of Soviets may be in demand.
