Legal and organizational fundamentals of historical work performed by the law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation

The author reveals the main approaches to the organization of historical and military-historical work, proves it relevant and reasonable to legally regulate the historical work performed by the law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation basing on creative consideration, accumulated experience of historical work conducted by federal executive agencies of Defence and Security authorities as the fundamentals of the personnel's patriotic education. The article proposes the goals, tasks and the main areas of historical work.
