Legal mechanisms of combating illicit trafficking of synthetic psychoactive substances

The article deals with the issues related to illegal trafficking of new types of synthetic drugs and the problem of legal status of analogues and narcotic derivatives, psychotropic substances and their precursors. The procedure of conducting a chemical and pharmacological forensic examination and the possibility of introduction of temporal prohibition of new psychoactive substances are considered in the article; a review of foreign experience in introduction of the institute of temporal prohibition of psychoactive substances is analyzed.
