Legal basis of the ideological counter-terrorism

The basis and the main identification feature of terrorism is ideology. Counteraction to it is unfolding, including in the ideological sphere. The article analyzes the current state of the legal framework governing legal relations, the activities of the state and civil society on ideological counteraction to terrorism. The author concludes that the current system of law has allowed forming organizational mechanisms to counter the ideology of terrorism, the system of its personnel, methodological and scientific support. At the same time, the task of improving the legislative and regulatory provisions regulating this activity remains urgent.
