Legal basis of international cooperation in the field of illicit drug trafficking

The regulation of illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances is carried out in accordance with regulatory legal acts, in particular conventions and memoranda adopted by international communities. The article presents a historical summary of the legal regulation of illegal drug trafficking, as well as defines the current state of this area by analyzing the main indicators of the law enforcement function of the state. In conclusion, the conclusions of the study are presented.
