Legal framework for preventing bribery in the United States

The relevance of this issue is that the fight against the spread of bribery is a priority on the agenda of national and international decision-making bodies, and law enforcement agencies in most countries. In this regard, a number of States have tightened anti-corruption laws. In addition, law enforcement agencies in many countries have identified the fight against this phenomenon as their direct priority. In this regard, the author chose the analysis of the Genesis of the activities of us legislative bodies to improve the legal framework for combating bribery as the object of the study. The methodological basis of the work was made up of modern achievements in the field of countering the legislative framework for preventing bribery. In the course of the study, the author came to the conclusion that the us legislative framework for combating bribery is primarily aimed at fighting corruption among officials. They apply to a wide range of officials working in the judicial, Executive, and legislative branches of government, as well as to individuals working in organizations that receive funds from the Federal government, to witnesses in various Federal trials, and to Federal jurors. As a novelty of the conducted research, the author's conclusions are poured out, which indicate that the current situation in the sphere of combating bribery in the United States contributes to the fact that corruption manifestations become less stable and sophisticated. The practical significance lies in the fact that these studies can be used in the preparation of information and analytical materials, in the process of building a system of organizational and managerial work to combat bribery.
