Legal problems of pledge of land plots in the Russian Federation

This article deals with the problem of the mortgage of agricultural land and its legal regulation in the legislation of the Russian Federation. This problem is not well understood and requires further research. The article deals with the contradictions between the federal legislation and the legislation of the subjects of the Russian Federation regarding the pledge of agricultural land. It justifies the idea that the pledge is the original institution of civil law.
