Human rights work of prosecutors outside the criminal law sphere and improvement of legislation in the field of activity of the prosecution authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2023

Based on the analysis of the current regulatory legal framework governing the organization and activities of the Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as Russian literary sources on various issues of prosecutorial activities, including the Scientific and Practical Commentary of the current version of the Federal Law of 17.01.1992 No. 2202-1 "On Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation” A.Yu. Vinokurov, proposes to amend the Constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic" dated September 10, 2021 No. 114 in terms of regulating the powers of the prosecutor's office when conducting inspections as part of general supervision, outside the criminal law sphere. Taking into account the debatability of the issue of the structure of prosecutorial activities, the author's position is given on the merits of the functions currently assigned to the prosecution authorities and other areas of external functional activity, certain historical aspects of some legal institutions are revealed, questions are raised that require resolution in the framework of scientific research, which should arouse interest in scientific environment.
