Precedent nature of supreme judicial bodies decisions in Russia

The article investigates common questions of the contents of the judiciary, judicial lawmaking and judicial law. Special attention is paid to the status of decisions of courts of various levels, as well as the problems of determining the place of acts of judicial law-making in the source hierarchy of the Russian law. The problems are noted and investigated of court decision rendering on the impact of lawmaking. A special attention is paid to the issues and values clarification in the judicial practice of the highest courts bodies and their impact on the domestic legal system. It is concluded that the role of the court and the court practice is considerably increased now. The highest judicial courts in the Russian Federation have ceased to be only courts of the resolution of individual disputes, their authority was also extended to the lawmaking.
