Precedent text in the structure of linguistic personality (based on art work and interviews by Yuri Shevchuk)

Problem and goal. The article analyses the problems of precedent, intertextuality, intertextual relations in the aspect of the theory of linguistic personality. The purpose of the article is to identify precedent texts as artistic and historic-cultural values in the works by Yuri Shevchuk, Russian musician, poet, composer, producer and artist, founder and leader of the „DDT” band. The methodology of the research is determined by the philological analysis, synthesis of foreign and domestic scientific works recognised as fundamental in the field of the theory of linguistic personality, the theory of precedent and intertextuality. Results. On the basis of anthropocentric approach to the analysis of language and speech, according to the modern linguistic understanding of it in theoretical concept of Yuri Nikolayevich Karaulov, the frequency of groups of signs introducing precedent texts in the works of Yuri Shevchuk is determined and an option of the description of the pragmatic level in the structure of the linguistic personality is proposed. Such approach to text analysis forms students' research skills. Conclusion. The article reveals the spectrum of intertextual meanings and thematic groups, which is actualised by the methods of intertextual relations. Levels of implementation of semantic knowledge represented in the signs are defined, introducing precedent texts valuable to linguistic identity.
