The article reveals the importance of the process of pre-mathematical training of preschool children. Acquiring elementary mathematical concepts, a child of preschool age learns to navigate in a variety of properties of objects and the relationship between them. The acquired knowledge, skills and abilities preschooler begins to apply in practice. This allows him to connect the processes of knowledge with the world, brings up positive personal qualities and creates the prerequisites for the emergence of a holistic picture of the world.
