The subject, object, tasks of the explosive technological expert examination

The paper discusses the problematic aspects of the trace evidence research on explosive devices and traces of an explosion. The correlation and place of trace evidence researches in the explosive technological expert examination are shown. The subject, object, and tasks of these researches during such an examination are specified. The paper reveals that all tasks of the trace evidence research are addressed during the explosive technological expert examination as well. The author develops and correlates the structure of such concepts as subject, object, and tasks of the trace evidence researches with the content and structure of the trace evidence researches in the explosive technological expert examination which are integrated in nature. The study proves that such a nature requires specialized knowledge applied in various branches of forensic examination and, consequently, single-discipline and multi-discipline expert panels involving experts in different fields.
