The prospects for the application of Content and Language Integrated Learning in a law school as a way to increase the effectiveness of teaching a foreign language in the context of toughening the requirements for the level of knowledge of a foreign language in conditions of limiting the time allocated for its study have been considered in the paper. The advantages of this approach are compared with the traditional models, as well as the difficulties that arise in the process of its implementation in higher education.
