He article publishes a number of finds unique to the region of the 2nd-3rd centuries AD, originating from the territory of the Ryazan region (Shilovsky district) and the Nizhny Novgorod region (Navashinsky city district). A sword and two spears belong to the items of armament characteristic of the Central European (East German) circle of cultures. Two bronze spurs are associated with a circle of East European barbarian enamels. The appearance of these objects in the region is considered in the context of complex historical and cultural processes in the territory of the forest and forest-steppe zones of the central part of Eastern Europe associated with the penetration of military groups from Central Europe to the east, including into the forest zone and the formation of the local horizon containing champieveu items in the 3rd century AD.
