Provision of public services in electronic form: realities of modern life

The article is about the use of modern information technologies in the activities of state authorities. The authors analyze the functions of electronic government, the procedure of transfer of public services in electronic form, and emphasize the problems, that prevent informatization of this sphere. The article presents some statistics that demonstrate the prevalence of the use of high-tech citizens.
