The causes of crisis in light industry in Belarus have been analyzed. It is determined that relative price reduction for light industry products is typical as for Belarusian market as for some foreign markets. The topical character of value chain management of price generation in light industry has been grounded. Some concepts of value chain improvement in Belarusian companies have been considered.
