The philosophical presuppositions of studying of cultural linguistics

The article discusses different philosophical approaches to the concept of language, its correlation with the real word and the ability to express a particular meaning. Most researchers concur that understanding is possible if there is a common context, which in the XX century is known as a cultural background and becomes a research object of the cultural linguistics and other multidisciplinary fields.
