Preconditions of emergence, formation, development and prospects of improvement of professional education in the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation (by the example of the discipline "Firearms training")

The socio-historical conditions of the development of the state in the period from 1917 up to the present time, as the historical background of the organization and the subsequent reorganization of the content of vocational education in the school and course system of the Soviet militia (later - the educational organizations of the system of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs of RF) are reconstructed in the article. The main attention was paid to the analysis of the content of the course «Firearms Training» («Military (shooting) training») in different periods of the development of the system of departmental education, as one of the courses that reflect the applied direction of militia (police) professional training.
