The article deals with representation in civil proceedings. A clear definition of representation is given and its types in civil proceedings are disclosed, as well as the powers of representatives are indicated. The shortcomings and problems of representation in civil proceedings are revealed, as well as solutions to such problems and reduction of shortcomings are indicated.
