The mythical mountains located in the North, beyond which is the North Ocean, are reflected in the written ancient monuments of Greece and Rome and in the Indo-Aryan sources: Rigveda, Mahabharata, Avesta, Bundakhishn. The localization of the Riphean mountains, causing controversy to date, suggests, first of all, to geographically designate the Northern Ocean.
