Prevention of repetition of crime. Challenges

Prevention of recidivism appears to be a comprehensive approach at the general social, special criminological and individual levels aimed at monitoring and supervision in the field of crime prevention by persons serving sentences, elimination of criminal groups of recidivists whose activities have created favorable conditions for criminal activity of recidivists by specially directed preventive measures, as well as post-penitentiary activities in respect of persons serving sentences, in post-penitentiary period (from the moment of release from the penal institution to the expiry or withdrawal of conviction), in this part, the penalty to achieve their goals should be as an individual, taking into account all personal characteristics and degree of public danger.
