Preliminary results of trade and economic relations between Russia and Turkey in the post-pandemic period

The article attempts to analyze the opportunities and challenges for the international trade of the Republic of Turkey at the beginning of the third decade of the 21st century. The author considers the dynamics of Turkey's cross-border trade, the pace and characteristics of bilateral Turkish-Russian trade in 2020-2022. The article records a significant increase in trade relations between the countries in the period under review; an increase in settlements in Russian rubles; and the presence of mutual understanding and positive trade dynamics. At the same time, there are a number of barriers to the further intensification and development of Turkey's trade and economic relations with Russia, the EU and the Middle East.
