Preliminary results of phytolithic analysis in Novoilinka VI settlement

The paper presents results of phytolithic research on the Novoilinka VI settlement. The Novoilinka VI settlement refers to Eneolithic period. The article is described the characteristics of the vegetation on the explored site of the study and is mentioned the features of the archaeological monument and its significance for paleoecological reconstructions. The morphological approach was used to describe the phytolithic profile. The phytoliths divided into several environmentally significant groups for interpretation. Three qualitatively different layers were allocated in the phytolithic profile. Found spectra phytoliths are more mesophilic then modern communities. Comparisons were made with the palaeobotanical researchs within the Eneolithic settlement Novoilinka III.
